Welcome to GoSky Connect. These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern your use of GoSky Connect internet services. By checking the box at sign-up, you confirm you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement.
1. Services Provided GoSky Connect provides high-speed dedicated internet connectivity to residential units, MDUs (Multiple Dwelling Units), and businesses. Services are intended for standard residential use — browsing, streaming, video calls, and similar lawful activities.
2. Privacy Policy Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your information.
3. Service Interruptions Internet connectivity may occasionally be interrupted due to scheduled maintenance, weather events, power outages, equipment failures, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. GoSky Connect will make commercially reasonable efforts to restore service promptly but makes no guarantee of uninterrupted service.
4. Emergency 911 Services — Important Notice If you use a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) phone service over this connection, 911 emergency calling may not function like a traditional landline. 911 service may be unavailable during:
- Power outages
- Internet service interruptions
- Account suspensions due to billing
We strongly recommend keeping a charged mobile phone available for emergency use at all times. GoSky Connect is not responsible for any inability to reach emergency services through a VoIP connection.
5. Alarm and Security Systems If you connect a home security or alarm system through this internet service, alarm signals may be disrupted during outages or interruptions. You are responsible for consulting your alarm provider to confirm compatibility and for testing your system independently. GoSky Connect is not liable for alarm system failures resulting from internet service interruptions.
6. Call Recording If you use any application or device that records calls made over this internet connection, you are solely responsible for complying with all applicable federal, state, and local laws regarding call recording and notification of all parties.
7. Acceptable Use This service is provided for residential use at your registered unit only. The following are prohibited:
- Reselling or redistributing internet access to others
- Using the service for commercial purposes without a commercial plan
- Any unlawful activity conducted over the network
Violation of acceptable use may result in service suspension or termination.
8. Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, GoSky Connect, its partners, and the building owner or manager are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from: service interruptions; failure of emergency (911) services over VoIP; alarm or security system failures related to internet connectivity; or any unauthorized access to your network or devices. By signing up, you acknowledge and accept these limitations.
9. Privacy Your use of our services is governed by our [Privacy Policy], which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.
10. Modifications GoSky Connect reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service after notice of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or account notice.
